Established 5 star Florist

We offer the complete array of arrangements for any occasion and enjoy a 5 star rating with hundreds of reviews. We are the most highly regarded flower shop in our area.
Currently, we have a total of 5 employees. 1. The owner designer/administrator (full time), 2. an additional designer (part time), 3. designer/sales/administration (owner's daughter-in-law, part time), 4. shop assistant (routes drivers on busy days and holidays, processes incoming flowers, general shop assistance-part time), 5. driver (part time). We employ additional drivers and help during the holidays.
Our shop uses a point of sale system that contains all of our customer data and the information on all past sales for both sender and recipient. There are terminals at the sales desk, plus an additional order taking desk, administration and each work station. Everyone has immediate access to the data to better serve our customers.
Our shop is located in a residence that was both the home of the current owner's mother and the flower shop. The residence is now used solely as a flower shop, but could also be used as a residence for a new owner. The property is duel zoned and approved for both residential and commercial flower shop operations.
Zoning and permitting is in progress for the property next to the flower shop for a school, grades 1 though 12. Growth potential is excellent in the area with both residential and commercial growth.
The buyer should be a florist with experience. Someone working in the industry that wants to open their own shop or someone moving to this area that has the same level of experience. The flower shop business is way more complicated than making arrangements. Buying and preordering and then processing the incoming orders is a task unto itself, requiring knowledge of flowers and plants such that you don’t end up with product that comes in with a short shelf life and even worse a short arrangement life for your customers.. Add to that the knowledge and experience of floral arrangements and you are getting close to what it will take to be successful.
We want whoever buys the shop to be successful and we believe that requires a certain level of knowledge coming in.
The building can be rented in either of two ways. 1. Shop operations only. This option offers the home less two back bedrooms and bath which will be walled off from the rest of the residence. The 2nd option is the entire building.
